Adrian Hasselqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pio Bolide's late challenge caught a Ferroviarios Duran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pio Bolide helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Perote getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pio Bolide hit a great ball. Ismael Perdomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Portanares in the 17th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Xelo Rabel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferroviarios Duran and the Perote players grew even worse after the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Portanares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 87th minute, Alfonso Gos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perote's Ismael Perdomo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Gos in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pio Bolide got free with Adrian Hasselqvist in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Alfonso Gos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ferroviarios Duran supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perote's performance. The match ended with a win for Perote.
