Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pinto Espinosa kicked off to start the match. Samuel Llanos's late challenge caught a Otavalo S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Llanos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, CD Gualiman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Llanos to maneuver through the defense. James Doral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mercado Iza having to interfere. José-Manuel Pando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mercado Iza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Doral got free with Mercado Iza in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 minutes of play CD Gualiman's Samuel Llanos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 11th minute, Samuel Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Otavalo S.C.'s Joaquin Darraña broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 17th minute, Otavalo S.C.'s José-Manuel Pando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mercado Iza. Mercado Iza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Otavalo S.C. booed when CD Gualiman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinto Espinosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Joaquin Darraña from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Mercado Iza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 26 played minutes CD Gualiman got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Lomelin. Mercado Iza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José-Manuel Pando in the 31st minute of the match. Pinto Espinosa hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mercado Iza had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when José-Manuel Pando from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Lara Valderramal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

José-Manuel Pando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mercado Iza having to interfere. Stacio Orue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lara Valderramal in the 56th minute. James Doral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Lara Valderramal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stacio Orue was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lara Valderramal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stacio Orue having to make a save. Pinto Espinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stacio Orue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stacio Orue came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by CD Gualiman's Lara Valderramal. But to his dismay, Lara Valderramal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Doral in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mercado Iza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pinto Espinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Stacio Orue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Danny Peñarroja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Carcelén Albino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stacio Orue skillfully saved the ball. If Lara Valderramal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Manuel Pando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José-Manuel Pando in the 95th minute of play forced CD Gualiman's goalkeeper Mercado Iza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes CD Gualiman got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Lomelin. It was a well-played corner which Yambay Urigarri managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
