The referee ignored Blue Lyons FC's protests and gave Urtun Raireta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Blue Lyons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtun Raireta to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Villagra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Lezcano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Blue Lyons FC's Salvador Villagra made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Lezcano was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Salvador Villagra came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Blue Lyons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Villagra couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chambellan FC's zone, Enrique Goiri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Lezcano came out of the goal and Enrique Goiri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Blue Lyons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Bardeci came free, but Mario Castropan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xesus Casabo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Castropan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bardeci in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Walter Bardeci made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Vermudo Olando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Castropan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Bardeci in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesus Casabo in the 60th minute of play forced Blue Lyons FC's goalkeeper Mario Castropan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Blue Lyons FC booed when Chambellan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Orive didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtun Castelo, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Chambellan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Goiri came free, but Gustavo Lezcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Xesus Casabo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Castropan was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Mario Castropan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bardeci in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Goiri got free with Gustavo Lezcano in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, Blue Lyons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Bardeci came free, but Mario Castropan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Goiri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Lezcano having to interfere.
