Bohórquez Sotelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azconzábal Guardamino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bohórquez Sotelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Azconzábal Guardamino's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Portugal.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xefe Hedesa to maneuver through the defense. When Azconzábal Guardamino came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Elvia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azconzábal Guardamino couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Azconzábal Guardamino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bohórquez Sotelo. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Azconzábal Guardamino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xian Barajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohórquez Sotelo having to interfere. Sánchez Cadorniga made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ubelteso Calon sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Elvia getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Omar Sigler hit a great ball. Bohórquez Sotelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azconzábal Guardamino in the 68th minute of the match. Ubelteso Calon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sánchez Cadorniga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Elvia fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Elvia's Xian Barajo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romulo Trevino's late challenge caught a Elvia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Trevino helped the player get up and apologised. Bohórquez Sotelo had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Ubarna Quesada's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Ubarna Quesada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bohórquez Sotelo. Portugal.F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubarna Quesada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Elvia's Xian Barajo got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elvia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
