Demecia's Xepe Maza got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match, Xepe Maza got a very nice opportunity to score, but José Baltanas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ivan Irabien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayoví Corono having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Plinio Sporting Club's goalkeeper José Baltanas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xepe Maza. Demecia's Ayoví Corono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Irabien in the 40th minute of play. Xepe Maza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. José Baltanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Irabien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klimovich Bodega made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Plinio Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Machado Alborza came free, but José Baltanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Plinio Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Maza came free, but José Baltanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play Plinio Sporting Club's García Torralba was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 78 played minutes Plinio Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by García Torralba. 82 minutes into the match, Plinio Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Klimovich Bodega came free, but José Baltanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Baltanas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klimovich Bodega, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Zosimo Chagavia hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Klimovich Bodega struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. José Baltanas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demecia. Demecia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
