In the 10th minute, Victor Vallearena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victor Vallearena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zadornin Urquiaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xandro Ibarguen in the 16th minute of play. When Victor Vallearena came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pilongo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Vallearena couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Internazionale's zone, Victor Vallearena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zadornin Urquiaga came out of the goal and Victor Vallearena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xandro Ibarguen struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zadornin Urquiaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilongo FC. Ferrer Calon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Algarte in the 26th minute. Ferrer Calon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosepe Eguiluz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Victor Vallearena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zadornin Urquiaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Vallearena in the 37th minute of play forced Athletic Internazionale's goalkeeper Zadornin Urquiaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xosepe Eguiluz to make the kick off. Darío Castañondo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Athletic Internazionale's goalkeeper Zadornin Urquiaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Pilongo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavier Mazuelo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Athletic Internazionale getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Urritz Escola hit a great ball. If Xandro Ibarguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xandro Ibarguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zadornin Urquiaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Eguiluz in the 74th minute of play forced Pilongo FC's goalkeeper Ferrer Calon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Vallearena in the 93rd minute of play forced Athletic Internazionale's goalkeeper Zadornin Urquiaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Vallearena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
