The wind increased when Xosepe Eguiluz made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Internazionale's zone, Castro Forcat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zadornin Urquiaga came out of the goal and Castro Forcat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zadornin Urquiaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Castro Forcat in the 53rd minute of play. Athletic Internazionale's Xosepe Eguiluz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rey Bringas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zadornin Urquiaga was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Xosepe Eguiluz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valdo Ochoa, passed just outside the right post. Vito Algarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Valdo Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Argudin during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valdo Ochoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Eguiluz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, america juniors's Alberto Argudin got a free kick in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
