After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Victor Vallearena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilongo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Vallearena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurxo Arriba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Urbez Bizoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xurxo Arriba. Patagrande FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbez Bizoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kaviedes Salgueiro in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferrer Calon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xandro Ibarguen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Arriba having to interfere. Yaniusky Venancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferrer Calon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pilongo FC's Norberto Albalate got a free kick in the 27th minute. Yaniusky Venancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ferrer Calon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrer Calon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaniusky Venancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Xurxo Arriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Pilongo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yaniusky Venancio came free, but Ferrer Calon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Pilongo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Vallearena to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Patagrande FC's Arias Bonal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Vallearena in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xurxo Arriba saved Patagrande FC from getting behind. Victor Vallearena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Vallearena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Arriba having to interfere. Ferrer Calon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaniusky Venancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Pilongo FC's Urbez Bizoso got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbez Bizoso charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbez Bizoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Pilongo FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbez Bizoso. 72 minutes into the match, Patagrande FC's Robin Belmonte broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ferrer Calon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaniusky Venancio in the 74th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Yaniusky Venancio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilongo FC's Ferrer Calon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Yaniusky Venancio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferrer Calon was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Kaviedes Salgueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Patagrande FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Arias Bonal hit a great ball. If Xandro Ibarguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Luina's late challenge caught a Pilongo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Luina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Fidel Luina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xandro Ibarguen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
