Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Sarralde started the match with the kick off. Gustavo Ocharan in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gomez Poncelas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gavica Cadiñanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gomez Poncelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Ybañez in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gomez Poncelas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute of the match, Bernardo Ybañez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gomez Poncelas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Esparta FC's Mendez Simon got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gustavo Ocharan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Poncelas having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Gomez Poncelas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Gustavo Ocharan came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ortuno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Ocharan couldn't finish the play. Gomez Poncelas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Ocharan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Gomez Poncelas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Ybañez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Walme Valmaseda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Palomarez having to interfere. Barros Villacis's late challenge caught a Ortuno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barros Villacis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ortuno booed when Esparta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barros Villacis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Ocharan in the 56th minute of play forced Esparta FC's goalkeeper Gomez Poncelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Bernardo Ybañez sped through Esparta FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gomez Poncelas. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Bernardo Ybañez put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gomez Poncelas. Gomez Poncelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavica Cadiñanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Esparta FC's zone, Gustavo Ocharan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gomez Poncelas came out of the goal and Gustavo Ocharan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ortuno's Roris Pablo in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esparta FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Ybañez might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gomez Poncelas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Ybañez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 played minutes Esparta FC got a freekick which was hit by Mendez Simon. Gustavo Ocharan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gomez Poncelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Bernardo Ybañez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ortuno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 91 minutes into the match, Esparta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Unai Godines came free, but Gomez Poncelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavica Cadiñanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Poncelas having to interfere. Gavica Cadiñanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
