Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ambrossi Cobreros started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, S. Sport Guayaquil's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Ramirez came free, but Zenon Tercero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrossi Cobreros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Inchaurdi having to make a save. Hugo Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Humberto Urbistondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S. Sport Guayaquil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Humberto Urbistondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bacundo SC's German Inchaurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrossi Cobreros in the 26th minute of play. Zenon Tercero came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacundo SC's Alvaro Giraldez. But to his dismay, Alvaro Giraldez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alvaro Giraldez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Zenon Tercero made a huge save. S. Sport Guayaquil's Zenon Tercero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Ramirez in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Bacundo SC's goal looked a bit too open when España Parte came free, but German Inchaurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Humberto Urbistondo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the S. Sport Guayaquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Urbistondo couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Ambrossi Cobreros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Inchaurdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Ramirez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrossi Cobreros in the 69th minute of play forced Bacundo SC's goalkeeper German Inchaurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bacundo SC's German Inchaurdi got control of the ball when España Parte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Zenon Tercero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coyette Sebastian hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Alvaro Giraldez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenon Tercero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Ramirez in the 88th minute of the match. If Hugo Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
