Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arboleda Masa kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Cuenca FC booed when UD Cochapata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. González Cavazos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Madera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vellito Vara in the 7th minute of play. Bagui Villarias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Luis Madera made a huge save. If Vellito Vara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Cuenca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Aulestia to maneuver through the defense. Bagui Villarias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Luis Madera made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, UD Cochapata's goalkeeper Luis Madera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bagui Villarias. Luis Madera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vellito Vara, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Vellito Vara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Luis Madera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bagui Villarias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Madera having to interfere. Cuenca FC's Vellito Vara got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Xaiver Collazo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuenca FC and the UD Cochapata players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cuenca FC! Nicolás Mojon had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Flavio Tornamira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-1 came in the 45th minute when Flavio Tornamira all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Nicolás Mojon. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vellito Vara to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cuenca FC's Pio Moxi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bagui Villarias in the 54th minute of play forced UD Cochapata's goalkeeper Luis Madera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vellito Vara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luis Madera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, González Cavazos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolás Mojon. Cuenca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that González Cavazos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luis Madera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vellito Vara went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Cuenca FC's goalkeeper Nicolás Mojon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by González Cavazos. After 68 played minutes UD Cochapata got a freekick which was hit by Rios Andibidria. In the 70th minute Bagui Villarias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Madera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vellito Vara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luis Madera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Madera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cuenca FC's Bagui Villarias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Vellito Vara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Madera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in UD Cochapata's zone, Bagui Villarias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Madera came out of the goal and Bagui Villarias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Madera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vellito Vara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Xaiver Collazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Madera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Cuenca FC got a freekick which was hit by Pio Moxi. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Vellito Vara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuenca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vellito Vara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Madera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
