Selvayacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REY DE COPAS the free kick. A collision led to Selvayacu getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Oswaldo Monedero hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jeremias Nougaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. REY DE COPAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Nougaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Peredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Jeremias Nougaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeremias Nougaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Peredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Selvayacu's Maximiliano Peredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Selvayacu from getting a goal against them. Selvayacu's Jácome Alamon got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Nougaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Umbruso Balaguer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selvayacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Umbruso Balaguer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevallos Zarza in the 47th minute of play forced Selvayacu's goalkeeper Maximiliano Peredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cevallos Zarza made a kick off. Selvayacu's Maximiliano Peredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevallos Zarza in the 56th minute of play. Maximiliano Peredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevallos Zarza in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Jácome Alamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selvayacu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jácome Alamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jácome Alamon came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cornelio Ganchegui could save by the left post. Unax Lereira kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Maximiliano Peredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Nougaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Maximiliano Peredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Nougaro in the 73rd minute of play. Cornelio Ganchegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Ganchegui made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Jácome Alamon sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Selvayacu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than REY DE COPAS.
