Gonzalo Barreda started the match with the kick off. Tuguadoaja's Ambrossi Cosmen got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ambrossi Cosmen came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Tuguadoaja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrossi Cosmen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xzavier Senties in the 17th minute of play forced Joyagshi FC's goalkeeper Peter Monesterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Barreda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tuguadoaja's Ambrossi Cosmen got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joyagshi FC's Peter Monesterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Joyagshi FC from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Joyagshi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xzavier Senties came free, but Peter Monesterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xzavier Senties made a kick off. Tuguadoaja's Xzavier Senties got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Monesterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xzavier Senties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Joyagshi FC's Gonzalo Barreda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Xzavier Senties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Peter Monesterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Joyagshi FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Igor Frecha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xzavier Senties in the 73rd minute of play forced Joyagshi FC's goalkeeper Peter Monesterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sergio Tuñon fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuguadoaja's protests and gave Sergio Tuñon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Sergio Tuñon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iván Sancha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Egea having to interfere. Xzavier Senties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Monesterio having to interfere. The supporters of Joyagshi FC booed when Tuguadoaja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ledesma Manojo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Joyagshi FC's Sandro Egea threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gonzalo Barreda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute, Gonzalo Barreda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tuguadoaja's Sandro Egea didn't even have to move.
