Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antonio Antolin kicked off to start the match. When Gonzalo Barreda came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Joyagshi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Barreda couldn't finish the play. Rafael Sarratea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcia Montaña having to interfere. Gonzalo Barreda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Joyagshi FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 11th minute, Gonzalo Barreda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valerio Cancela kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Antonio Antolin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC 1989's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Antolin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Monesterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Antolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Igor Frecha charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Frecha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Joyagshi FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Frecha. Mane Urguia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Garcia Montaña managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Joyagshi FC's Iván Sancha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Garcia Montaña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iván Sancha in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Antonio Gadano managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC 1989's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Gadano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Monesterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AFC 1989's Garcia Montaña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Barreda in the 37th minute of play. Antonio Gadano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Monesterio having to interfere. Garcia Montaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Barreda in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC 1989's zone, Iván Sancha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garcia Montaña came out of the goal and Iván Sancha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of AFC 1989:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Joyagshi FC:s goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Joyagshi FC. Valerio Cancela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Garcia Montaña. 1-0. Garcia Montaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Sancha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Antonio Antolin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antonio Gadano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Monesterio having to make a save. After 90 minutes, Rafael Sarratea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joyagshi FC and the AFC 1989 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes, AFC 1989's Mane Urguia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Monesterio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC 1989 reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Antolin in the 93rd minute of play forced Joyagshi FC's goalkeeper Peter Monesterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Gadano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Monesterio having to interfere. Joyagshi FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
