Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Desiderio Caneda started the match with the kick off. Tenorio Baldaliso might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Serantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tenorio Baldaliso ran back to his position shaking his head. Ur Regaño's late challenge caught a Dudas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ur Regaño helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dudas FC booed when Rocafuerte F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ur Regaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Sergio Muñoyerro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Meruelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Serantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Cintron in the 11th minute of the match. Rocafuerte F. C.'s Tenorio Baldaliso got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tenorio Baldaliso came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Rocafuerte F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tenorio Baldaliso couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dudas FC's goalkeeper Jose Serantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Desiderio Caneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Cintron to make the kick off. Ismael Bengoa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Desiderio Caneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mina Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Angel Meruelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Meruelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Caneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match, Mina Casado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angel Meruelo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Angel Meruelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Caneda in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rocafuerte F. C.'s Bran Infante got a free kick in the 68th minute. Angel Meruelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Caneda in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Dudas FC booed when Rocafuerte F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zavier Castreciones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Meruelo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chiriboga Othaz. Sergio Muñoyerro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jose Serantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tenorio Baldaliso went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Dudas FC's Santiago Sampedro got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Xacobo Obaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Mina Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dudas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mina Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rocafuerte F. C.'s Angel Meruelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Caneda in the 93rd minute of play. Rocafuerte F. C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
