Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bran Zamora started the match with the kick off. Marques Palomarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Cuero Castaosa made a huge save. Pico Temiño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Arriba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was beautiful to see CD Curacaco's Aguirre Valdecañas in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After having played for 16 minutes, Bran Zamora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Gercelan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bran Zamora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, CD Curacaco's Cuero Castaosa got control of the ball when Marques Palomarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marques Palomarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bran Zamora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cuero Castaosa was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Cuero Castaosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th match minute, UD Gercelan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hidalgo Acebal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CD Curacaco's zone, Bran Zamora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cuero Castaosa came out of the goal and Bran Zamora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st match minute, UD Gercelan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Seda to maneuver through the defense. UD Gercelan's Bran Zamora got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Bricianos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pico Temiño having to make a save. Pico Temiño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Bricianos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Bran Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cuero Castaosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuero Castaosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marques Palomarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Arriba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bran Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cuero Castaosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Jose Bricianos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Curacaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 80 minutes, Bran Zamora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of CD Curacaco were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant UD Gercelan side.
