Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Cuenia in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Findley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arman Kadrican charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arman Kadrican the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, CODIGO 7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Kadrican to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Desiderio Cuenia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Findley. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palomares FC's zone, Abel Antuñano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Mascarañas came out of the goal and Abel Antuñano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desiderio Cuenia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Martin Findley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicolas Belandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Desiderio Cuenia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palomares FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Cuenia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Abel Antuñano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Antuñano to make the kick off. Cevdet Torcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Mascarañas having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Romero Monzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CODIGO 7's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palomares FC the free kick. Romero Monzon hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Martin Findley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Barnuevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Antuñano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Mascarañas having to interfere. A collision led to CODIGO 7 getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Romero Monzon hit a great ball. Desiderio Cuenia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Findley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Cevdet Torcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CODIGO 7's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevdet Torcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, CODIGO 7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevdet Torcan to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, CODIGO 7's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Belandia came free, but Martin Findley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cevdet Torcan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the CODIGO 7 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevdet Torcan couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Desiderio Cuenia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Martin Findley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cevdet Torcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Mascarañas having to interfere. Ortiz Riesco's late challenge caught a CODIGO 7's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ortiz Riesco helped the player get up and apologised. Cevdet Torcan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Urbano Mascarañas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CODIGO 7. Urbano Mascarañas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cevdet Torcan in the 95th minute. Many of CODIGO 7's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CODIGO 7 may have spent more time on the ball, but Palomares FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
