Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th match minute, SV-7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximun Fornell to maneuver through the defense. If Branimir Sušac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurel Cutieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angulo Feliz having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Guayaquil Sporting Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SV-7:s goal. Angulo Feliz had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Aurel Cutieru's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 15th minute, Aurel Cutieru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angulo Feliz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Branimir Sušac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Angulo Feliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Lavandera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Galdia went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Aurel Cutieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Angulo Feliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes SV-7 got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Aguiar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Galdia to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Guayaquil Sporting Club's Oscar Galdia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pablo Lavandera. That made the score 1-2 after 51 minutes of play. Pablo Lavandera came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Guayaquil Sporting Club's Viteri Rafecas. But to his dismay, Viteri Rafecas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of SV-7 booed when Guayaquil Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uxio Beamud didn't get a good kick on the ball. SV-7's Pablo Lavandera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SV-7 from getting a goal against them. Oscar Galdia took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Lavandera. Pablo Lavandera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Daniel Aguiar's late challenge caught a Guayaquil Sporting Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. When Viteri Rafecas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Guayaquil Sporting Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viteri Rafecas couldn't finish the play. SV-7's Pablo Lavandera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save SV-7 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SV-7's Branimir Sušac got a free kick in the 88th minute. Pablo Lavandera came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Guayaquil Sporting Club's Viteri Rafecas. But to his dismay, Viteri Rafecas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guayaquil Sporting Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
