Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ortiz Sanes made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montalvo Caloca in the 3rd minute of play forced Burrotieta FC's goalkeeper Intriago Gamarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ortiz Sanes in the 10th minute of play forced CD Riochico's goalkeeper Lavallén Norzagaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lavallén Norzagaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ortiz Sanes in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, CD Riochico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Cagigas to maneuver through the defense. Facundo Erazo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Facundo Erazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lavallén Norzagaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Ucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Intriago Gamarra having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, CD Riochico's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Erazo came free, but Lavallén Norzagaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Ucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Ucero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Intriago Gamarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Joaquin Ucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Intriago Gamarra having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loco Lombillo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Burrotieta FC booed when CD Riochico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Igartua didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Guiles during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Burrotieta FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Guiles. When Loco Lombillo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the CD Riochico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Lombillo couldn't finish the play. Ortiz Sanes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Burrotieta FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the CD Riochico defense, Facundo Erazo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lavallén Norzagaray. The CD Riochico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lavallén Norzagaray should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, CD Riochico's goal looked a bit too open when Ortiz Sanes came free, but Lavallén Norzagaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Facundo Erazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Ucero struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Intriago Gamarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Riochico. After having played for 83 minutes, Ortiz Sanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burrotieta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ortiz Sanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loco Lombillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Ucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Loco Lombillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Burrotieta FC defense, Joaquin Ucero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Intriago Gamarra. The Burrotieta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Intriago Gamarra should have stopped the shot.
