A collision led to Chaval getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Isaac Cota hit a great ball. After 12 minutes, Humberto Cistero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaval and the Burrotieta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Humberto Cistero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes, Burrotieta FC's Cornelio Naves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Muzquiz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burrotieta FC reached it. If Ortiz Sanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Texeira Caval in the 31st minute of play forced Burrotieta FC's goalkeeper Intriago Gamarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Burrotieta FC got a freekick which was hit by Paco Urruchua. In the 33rd minute of the match, Texeira Caval tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Intriago Gamarra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Venceslas Buraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Intriago Gamarra made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Venceslas Buraga sent off a good shot on target. Facundo Erazo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Muzquiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Erazo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd match minute, Chaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonio Farell to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Texeira Caval to make the kick off. Intriago Gamarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslas Buraga in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Chaval's goal looked a bit too open when Ortiz Sanes came free, but Alvaro Muzquiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zigor Conllas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Facundo Erazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Ortiz Sanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ortiz Sanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute Ortiz Sanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Muzquiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Muzquiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Erazo in the 70th minute. Facundo Erazo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Alvaro Muzquiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burrotieta FC. In the 75th minute, Humberto Cistero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Intriago Gamarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venceslas Buraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Intriago Gamarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Texeira Caval in the 87th minute of play. Venceslas Buraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Intriago Gamarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Facundo Erazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
