Victor Ochotorena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairón Carillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Urtats Guardiola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbruso Freire's late challenge caught a Omega's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ordonez Sirguero was slow to take the kick. During this time Omega's players had a chance to rest. The UD Bastidas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Omega's performance. The match ended with a win for Omega.
