Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Huanguiloma SC's Segundo Mendia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Huanguiloma SC's Segundo Mendia got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Canaribamba's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Mendia came free, but Paúl Polla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Mendia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paúl Polla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espiga Chapado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Javier Neriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Segundo Mendia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paúl Polla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Bajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Canaribamba's zone, Segundo Mendia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paúl Polla came out of the goal and Segundo Mendia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bustos Yribarren was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Canaribamba's Jairo Morquecho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Paúl Polla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Bajo went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Yoel Urive was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. Javier Neriz went to the wrong direction when Zornin Gaytan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bohórquez Barrera during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Huanguiloma SC booed when Canaribamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohórquez Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Coyette Bengoechea in the 72nd minute really tested Paúl Polla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Espiga Chapado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canaribamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Espiga Chapado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Neriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bustos Yribarren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Bustos Yribarren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canaribamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bustos Yribarren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Huanguiloma SC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Moises Jove hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espiga Chapado in the 90th minute of play forced Huanguiloma SC's goalkeeper Javier Neriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espiga Chapado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Neriz having to interfere. Javier Neriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bustos Yribarren in the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Canaribamba's Espiga Chapado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Neriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Huanguiloma SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
