Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Campos Vigil started the match with the kick off. Felix Ygnacio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Ygnacio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Peludo got a freekick which was hit by Felix Ygnacio. Machala's Leonardo Bullan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Peludo. In the 11th minute, Mariano Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Errazquin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Campos Vigil sped through Peludo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leandro Villaurreta. In the 20th minute, Eduardo Errazquin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Villaurreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Errazquin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Machala's Burbano Udoy got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eduardo Errazquin struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Leandro Villaurreta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machala. If Genaro Nogal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Eduardo Errazquin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peludo's Leandro Villaurreta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Machala's Eduardo Errazquin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Villaurreta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Peludo's Felix Ygnacio got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peludo's zone, Eduardo Errazquin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Villaurreta came out of the goal and Eduardo Errazquin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eduardo Errazquin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batista Ojea made a kick off. Eduardo Errazquin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Campos Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Texeira Anillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguez Bergaño was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Texeira Anillo sped through Machala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodriguez Bergaño. 63 minutes into the match, Peludo's goalkeeper Leandro Villaurreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Errazquin. Eduardo Errazquin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Villaurreta having to interfere. Peludo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Campos Vigil 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. The supporters of Peludo booed when Machala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Campos Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Campos Vigil fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Machala getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Campos Vigil hit a great ball. Campos Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Villaurreta having to interfere. Campos Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Villaurreta was a little too slow when Campos Vigil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. 91 minutes into the game, Machala's Eduardo Errazquin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Villaurreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Leandro Villaurreta made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eduardo Errazquin sent off a good shot on target.
