Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Silante FC's Jerson Sedeño started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zornin Jaquinot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Bruna in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xefe Cernadas got free with Zornin Jaquinot in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Silante FC's Zornin Jaquinot got control of the ball when Xefe Cernadas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Montalvo Pascua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silante FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmas SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Silante FC's Montalvo Pascua got a free kick in the 16th minute. Zornin Jaquinot acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joel Rotalo. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jerson Sedeño put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xarles Caban. If Xefe Cernadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zornin Jaquinot made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Xefe Cernadas sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes Palmas SC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Pozo. In the 31st minute, Asensio Orbañanos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palmas SC's Xarles Caban didn't even have to move. If De-Jesús Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Palmas SC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Angel Pozo hit a great ball. Orlando Bruna charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Bruna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Palmas SC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Bruna. In the 37th minute of the match Asensio Orbañanos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xarles Caban skillfully saved the ball. Demetrio Murcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xarles Caban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio Murcia ran back to his position shaking his head. 0-2 became the score in the 40th minute when Jerson Sedeño elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerson Sedeño in the 45th minute of play forced Palmas SC's goalkeeper Xarles Caban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xarles Caban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Murcia in the 47th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Palmas SC's goalie and right to Méndez Bichesne. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Palmas SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Palmas SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Silante FC were winning 0-2.

56 minutes into the match, Palmas SC's goalkeeper Xarles Caban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demetrio Murcia. After having played for 59 minutes, Xefe Cernadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xefe Cernadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Angel Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Asensio Orbañanos from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Xarles Caban's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Xefe Cernadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demetrio Murcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Xarles Caban made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Gustavo Manzanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xefe Cernadas took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zornin Jaquinot. Zornin Jaquinot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Xarles Caban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerson Sedeño in the 88th minute of the match. Demetrio Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led to Silante FC's Méndez Bichesne getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Demetrio Murcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Silante FC's zone, Xefe Cernadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zornin Jaquinot came out of the goal and Xefe Cernadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Xefe Cernadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xefe Cernadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zornin Jaquinot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Silante FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Silante FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
