Paluga's Bran Arripe got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Xosepe Carana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silante FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paluga the free kick. 10 minutes into the game, one of Silante FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Paluga's Arévalo Velarroa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zornin Jaquinot. Bran Arripe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Zornin Jaquinot made a huge save. Demetrio Murcia struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Romo Adriano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silante FC. If Bran Arripe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Silante FC's Demetrio Murcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romo Adriano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Wellington Mascarañas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Zornin Jaquinot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paluga. Romo Adriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerson Sedeño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington Mascarañas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio Murcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romo Adriano having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerson Sedeño made a kick off. If Jerson Sedeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Silante FC booed when Paluga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 73 minutes into the match, Wellington Mascarañas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zornin Jaquinot. Silante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Mascarañas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Romo Adriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from De-Jesús Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of Silante FC booed when Paluga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Huergo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silante FC's Jerson Sedeño got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zornin Jaquinot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bran Arripe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bran Arripe in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zornin Jaquinot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paluga had won after a very even match.
