The supporters of UD Aluburo booed when UD Pochiche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Xavieon Onez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Aluburo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Pochiche the free kick. In the 6th minute, Xavieon Onez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Sicilia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, UD Pochiche's Joakim Öman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stalin Mendaza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Xaime Idiaquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zadornin Oquerruri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sebastian Corcoba managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Aluburo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Corcoba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zadornin Oquerruri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, UD Aluburo's Xaime Idiaquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zadornin Oquerruri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, UD Aluburo's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Kjellman came free, but Stalin Mendaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zadornin Oquerruri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Corcoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, UD Pochiche's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Corcoba came free, but Zadornin Oquerruri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of UD Aluburo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UD Pochiche:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Corcoba made a kick off. After 67 played minutes, UD Aluburo's Juan Grolet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zadornin Oquerruri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Aluburo reached it. Xaime Idiaquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Zadornin Oquerruri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. UD Pochiche's Zadornin Oquerruri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save UD Pochiche from getting a goal against them. Sven-Olof Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Stalin Mendaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, UD Pochiche's Sven-Olof Kjellman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stalin Mendaza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. UD Aluburo's Stalin Mendaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Kjellman in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Gerardo Cereceda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Pochiche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Cereceda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in UD Aluburo's zone, Ximenes Torga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stalin Mendaza came out of the goal and Ximenes Torga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
