Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodney Iriusta took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Guncay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Iriusta came free, but Isaias Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentim Selgas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Iriusta in the 9th minute of play forced Guncay FC's goalkeeper Isaias Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Vizcaino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Guncay FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ariel Canelas hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guncay FC's goalkeeper Isaias Macias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaias Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Iriusta in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Rodney Iriusta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Damian Mansilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guncay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Mansilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentim Selgas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Espinosa Rua was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Chucho Esqueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chucho Esqueira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Espinosa Rua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Mansilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Urrutia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Macias having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentim Selgas made a kick off. Espinosa Rua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Selgas in the 54th minute of play. When Vachon Cuartas fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachipirca's protests and gave Vachon Cuartas a yellow card for diving instead. Vachon Cuartas hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Valentim Selgas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Mansilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Espinosa Rua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osorio Bielva got free with Isaias Macias in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Espinosa Rua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Mansilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Guncay FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cachipirca for a fine match.
