If Geovanni Calleja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes, Desiderio Pelegrina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Florida and the UD Huigra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes CD Florida got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Pelegrina. Víctor Almirall was a little too slow when Xavieon Tarulla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of CD Florida booed when UD Huigra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Maleta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Xavieon Tarulla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víctor Almirall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, CD Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevallos Barbeito to maneuver through the defense. Víctor Almirall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yánez Villarias in the 21st minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Florida! CD Florida:s Víctor Almirall showed great skill when he stopped Yánez Villarias:s penalty. In the 28thth minute of the game Ximenes Corisco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Huigra's Segundo Sobrevilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CD Florida's Víctor Almirall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save CD Florida from getting a goal against them. Francisco Vasaburu's late challenge caught a UD Huigra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Vasaburu helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco Vasaburu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Xanti Maimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Víctor Almirall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavieon Tarulla in the 37th minute of the match. Xanti Maimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Víctor Almirall made a huge save. Geovanni Calleja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Paco Oropeza charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paco Oropeza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UD Huigra getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Paco Oropeza hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Xavieon Tarulla had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Torralba during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Paulo Torralba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, UD Huigra's Segundo Sobrevilla got control of the ball when Geovanni Calleja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Segundo Sobrevilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Corisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ximenes Corisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Nestor Riguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yánez Villarias fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Huigra's protests and gave Yánez Villarias a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Florida's Ximenes Corisco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Segundo Sobrevilla. That made the score 1-1 after 87 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in CD Florida's zone, Xanti Maimo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víctor Almirall came out of the goal and Xanti Maimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
