Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Casado Belber started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Capitan in the 4th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Alessandro Villafane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Rubén Heces shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Villafane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Capitan in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Villafane saved Ecuador from getting behind. Geovanni Lomelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casado Belber in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when UD Chical was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ugutz Maneiro got free with Geovanni Lomelin in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Casado Belber got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovanni Lomelin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klimowitz Clavijo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 20 minutes of play, UD Chical's Narciso Torres made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Villafane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Villafane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Torres in the 23rd minute of the match. Geovanni Lomelin made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Klimowitz Clavijo sent off a good shot on target. Geovanni Lomelin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casado Belber's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, UD Chical's Rubén Heces got a free kick in the 28th minute. Alessandro Villafane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Capitan in the 30th minute of play. Geovanni Lomelin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casado Belber went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 35 minutes of play, UD Chical's Teodoro Capitan made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Teodoro Capitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Villafane. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Villafane should have stopped the shot. UD Chical's Geovanni Lomelin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save UD Chical from getting a goal against them. After the first half UD Chical were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, UD Chical's Manuel Rubio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alessandro Villafane. Alessandro Villafane yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. 57 minutes into the match, Teodoro Capitan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alessandro Villafane, 2-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Rubio during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, UD Chical was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Rubio to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Klimowitz Clavijo put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Geovanni Lomelin. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodoro Capitan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alessandro Villafane. That made the score 3-6 in the 67 minute of play. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Rubén Heces scored to the left of an out of position Alessandro Villafane, making the score, 3-7. In the 74th minute Teodoro Capitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Villafane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Umea Santander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Lomelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Alessandro Villafane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Torres. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Teodoro Capitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Villafane came out of the goal and Teodoro Capitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Capitan in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Villafane saved Ecuador from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Klimowitz Clavijo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Lomelin was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After 93 played minutes UD Chical got a freekick which was hit by Rubén Heces. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Umea Santander hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Narciso Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Chical fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-9. UD Chical's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
