A hard shot 5 in the game by Esteban Rosado from a close distance when the talented Danny Carvajal managed to make a qualified save. Naranjal's players were relieved. Danny Carvajal made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Esteban Rosado sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Naranjal's Xayvion Oria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Barcaiztegui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Narciso Barcaiztegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xayvion Oria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Videgaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Carvajal having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Celso Videgaray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bermejos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Videgaray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Danny Carvajal made a huge save. Esteban Rosado struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Danny Carvajal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bermejos. In the 37th minute, Celso Videgaray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Carvajal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ximen Lizano during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bermejos getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ximen Lizano hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Bernardo Amigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Barcaiztegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xayvion Oria to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Aguado during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felix Aguado hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Celso Videgaray's late challenge caught a Naranjal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Videgaray helped the player get up and apologised. Esteban Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Danny Carvajal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Amigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Naranjal defense, Esteban Rosado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Carvajal. The Naranjal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Carvajal should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bermejos booed when Naranjal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Cardeña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Carvajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Videgaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Naranjal's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Videgaray came free, but Danny Carvajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naranjal's Danny Carvajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Videgaray in the 71st minute of play. Narciso Barcaiztegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xayvion Oria in the 74th minute of the match. When Celso Videgaray came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Bermejos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Videgaray couldn't finish the play. Xayvion Oria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Narciso Barcaiztegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Bermejos got a freekick which was hit by Celso Videgaray. After having played for 83 minutes, Victoriano Agrelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bermejos's Narciso Barcaiztegui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Bermejos from getting a goal against them. After 91 minutes, Santiago Camposa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bermejos and the Naranjal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Bermejos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Camposa to maneuver through the defense. Naranjal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
