Suárez Holgado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zeru Irazu. When Ximenez Miranes fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dementors FC's protests and gave Ximenez Miranes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Ximenez Miranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dementors FC's Ovidio Ruidiaz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ovidio Ruidiaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Azucar SC's Suárez Holgado got control of the ball when Urrutia Oneca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yago Naredo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Juan-Carlos Rubiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Berdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garrido Zumiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rafael Berdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montalvo Barquerin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, one of Azucar SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Suárez Holgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ximenez Miranes went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Suárez Holgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenez Miranes in the 52nd minute of the match. Rafael Berdu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garrido Zumiza in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ximenez Miranes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dementors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximenez Miranes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Suárez Holgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Dementors FC's zone, Vedillo Horcajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Berdu came out of the goal and Vedillo Horcajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Yago Naredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Berdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrido Zumiza in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Dementors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan-Carlos Rubiero came free, but Rafael Berdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Hector Jolis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Hector Jolis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azucar SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Jolis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan-Carlos Rubiero in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Berdu saved Dementors FC from getting behind. Vedillo Horcajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Berdu having to interfere. Garrido Zumiza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Urrutia Oneca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Ruidiaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suárez Holgado having to interfere. The Dementors FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
