Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Villegas Celis in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Grijan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monge Gabiña in the 31st minute of play forced Jidcay FC's goalkeeper Simon Grijan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Grijan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monge Gabiña in the 39th minute of play. Villegas Celis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Simon Grijan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villegas Celis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Grijan having to interfere. Jidcay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Ayerdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Ayerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elkin Pangua having to interfere. Elkin Pangua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sánchez Leyte, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Abanico's Elkin Pangua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ayerdi in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Abanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klimowitz Elberdin to maneuver through the defense.
