Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes of play, Abanico's Villegas Celis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garcés Robredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Monge Gabiña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcés Robredo having to interfere. Camacho Cuadra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elkin Pangua having to make a save. After 23 minutes, Camacho Cuadra made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Abanico's Elkin Pangua tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Abanico's Klimowitz Elberdin got a free kick in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camacho Cuadra during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Abanico booed when Uyumbicho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camacho Cuadra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Oswaldo Verlo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Uyumbicho SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswaldo Verlo couldn't finish the play. Abanico's Elkin Pangua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Verlo in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Rocio Criales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Uyumbicho SC got a freekick which was hit by Camacho Cuadra. Oswaldo Verlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elkin Pangua having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Abanico's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Canzino came free, but Elkin Pangua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uyumbicho SC's Oswaldo Verlo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abanico's Elkin Pangua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camacho Cuadra in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Verlo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elkin Pangua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Abanico getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Villegas Celis hit a great ball. Abanico's Monge Gabiña got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abanico's Elkin Pangua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Verlo in the 82nd minute of play. If Camacho Cuadra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abanico's Monge Gabiña in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uyumbicho SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Monge Gabiña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
