Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Inchausti took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, CD Chicana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Cuadra to maneuver through the defense. With 6 minutes on the clock, Jacinto Areta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 6th minute, one of CD Chicana:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Chicana. Boris Gallano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of UD Guallagro booed when CD Chicana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Ontavilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unai Mollinedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, David Inchausti made a precise shot to the right of Xandro Lujarra. CD Chicana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ignacio Mejia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lopez Chicarro in the 26th minute. Lopez Chicarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ignacio Mejia made a huge save. UD Guallagro's Unai Mollinedo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Chicana's Xandro Lujarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Inchausti in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, UD Guallagro's David Inchausti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xandro Lujarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in UD Guallagro's zone, Lopez Chicarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Mejia came out of the goal and Lopez Chicarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Inchausti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Unai Mollinedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xandro Lujarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lopez Chicarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ignacio Mejia made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Yánez Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After having played for 54 minutes, Lopez Chicarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Chicana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lopez Chicarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ramón Cuadra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Lopez Chicarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes UD Guallagro got a freekick which was hit by Yánez Fuente. In the 65th minute Lopez Chicarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Mejia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lopez Chicarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lopez Chicarro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ignacio Mejia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Chicana. Ignacio Mejia came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by CD Chicana's Lopez Chicarro. But to his dismay, Lopez Chicarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ignacio Mejia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lopez Chicarro in the 80th minute of play. Ignacio Mejia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lopez Chicarro went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Guallagro's Unai Mollinedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xandro Lujarra. That made the score 2-2 after 90 minutes of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
