When Urre Machicao fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranchito SC's protests and gave Urre Machicao a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Ranchito SC got a freekick which was hit by Urre Machicao. Ranchito SC's Bustos Barbot pulled a muscle in his back after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asensio Villafuentes during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Héctor Mestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Héctor Mestre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ranchito SC's Dario Ameyugo. Dario Ameyugo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 25 minutes, Wilfredo Valcarcel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calpi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Valcarcel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Reyes Calderona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 29 minutes, Ysidro Sopena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calpi FC and the Ranchito SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Calpi FC's Ysidro Sopena got a free kick in the 30th minute. Paulo Tornamira made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Peter Lambarida sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Wilfredo Valcarcel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Ameyugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ranchito SC's Bolívar Minguet got a free kick in the 38th minute. Héctor Mestre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Héctor Mestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Ranchito SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reyes Calderona to maneuver through the defense. Ranchito SC's Dario Ameyugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Mestre in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Héctor Mestre made a kick off. Wilfredo Valcarcel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rdth minute of the game Héctor Mestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranchito SC's Dario Ameyugo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xulio Mediavilla kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Valcarcel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dario Ameyugo, 0-2. Wilfredo Valcarcel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Valcarcel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Ameyugo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Wilfredo Valcarcel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calpi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Valcarcel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Ameyugo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Ranchito SC's Peter Lambarida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Tornamira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 86th minute Bolívar Minguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Tornamira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reyes Calderona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Lambarida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Tornamira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ranchito SC's zone, Wilfredo Valcarcel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Ameyugo came out of the goal and Wilfredo Valcarcel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario Ameyugo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Calpi FC's Wilfredo Valcarcel. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Valcarcel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
