Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zigor Rois started the match with the kick off. If Mane Lasquibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauricio Camaño kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Mariano Villasante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Ennecon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Villasante in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Manchester United's Alberto Palmer got control of the ball when Mane Lasquibar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Palmer made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mane Lasquibar sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Alberto Palmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Fragua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alberto Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mane Lasquibar got free with Alberto Palmer in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ximeno Montanez fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Ximeno Montanez a yellow card for diving instead. Fernández Arbizu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Fragua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alberto Palmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. UD Pichincha's Lorenzo Fragua got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mane Lasquibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th play minute Mane Lasquibar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alberto Palmer. 2-0. Mane Lasquibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alberto Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Fragua came free, but Alberto Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mane Lasquibar in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Fragua to strike the kick off in the second half. If Zigor Rois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Fragua, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Zavier Madrid fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Zavier Madrid a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UD Pichincha booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zavier Madrid didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mane Lasquibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Fragua in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zavier Madrid hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Lorenzo Fragua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Alberto Palmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. UD Pichincha's Lorenzo Fragua got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zigor Rois kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Mane Lasquibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alberto Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Ruperto Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes, UD Pichincha's Fernández Arbizu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Palmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Pichincha reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mane Lasquibar in the 82nd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Alberto Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mane Lasquibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alberto Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ximeno Montanez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manchester United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernández Arbizu was slow to take the kick. During this time UD Pichincha's players had a chance to rest. UD Pichincha's Fernández Arbizu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alberto Palmer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in UD Pichincha's zone, Mariano Villasante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Ennecon came out of the goal and Mariano Villasante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Llorengoz during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Llorengoz to maneuver through the defense. UD Pichincha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
