Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eduardo Berberana made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Cotera Posse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UD Cayo's Patricio Artigue got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Granja got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Rigual. Patricio Artigue scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iván Llago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xesus Luey during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Granja getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Xesus Luey hit a great ball. José-Manuel Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Texeira Villaro having to interfere. Granja's José-Manuel Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José-Manuel Lobo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Texeira Villaro. Texeira Villaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 41st match minute, Granja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xesus Luey to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Granja's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patricio Artigue fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José-Manuel Lobo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leo Bullon kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Patricio Artigue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iván Llago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ysmael Casas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Eduardo Berberana notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Granja's Iván Llago. Iván Llago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduardo Berberana struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Iván Llago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Cayo. In the 73rdth minute of the game Eduardo Berberana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granja's Iván Llago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Urko Marichal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to UD Cayo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Xofre Haces hit a great ball. When José-Manuel Lobo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Granja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José-Manuel Lobo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of UD Cayo booed when Granja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. José-Manuel Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Granja's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
