Machado Verlo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, José-Manuel Lobo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carnero Barquin to make any attempt to save it. Rosero Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Iván Llago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Granja's José-Manuel Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Guasimo's Carnero Barquin got control of the ball when Urko Marichal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rosero Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carnero Barquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José-Manuel Lobo in the 35th minute of the match. Rosero Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urko Marichal in the 65th minute of play forced Guasimo's goalkeeper Carnero Barquin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes, Guagua Camarero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guasimo and the Granja players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guasimo booed when Granja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ysmael Casas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iván Llago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Caamaño's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosero Velasco got free with Iván Llago in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rosero Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosero Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Iván Llago made a huge save. After having played for 91 minutes, Urko Marichal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urko Marichal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guasimo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
