The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zayvius Torron was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC GUAYAS's Arévalo Azpiroz got a free kick in the 59th minute. Andres Laguardia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Zayvius Torron came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC GUAYAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zayvius Torron couldn't finish the play. With 67 minutes on the clock, Andres Laguardia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, William Cribell, was totally fooled by FC GUAYAS's Gilmar Peciña, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zavior Matienzo in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batista Alari saved FC GUAYAS from getting behind. Damian Cembraña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but William Cribell made a huge save.
