Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teo Cedeno took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaramillo Catalan charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaramillo Catalan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of larry caverga booed when Capricho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaramillo Catalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Brieba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Yzaguirre in the 11th minute of play. larry caverga's Vidal Verdejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Cedeno in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Yzaguirre in the 15th minute of play forced Capricho's goalkeeper Luciano Brieba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Capricho's goal looked a bit too open when Asencio Zartucha came free, but Luciano Brieba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Asencio Zartucha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 22 in the game by Xzaver Yanguas from a close distance when the talented Vidal Verdejo managed to make a qualified save. larry caverga's players were relieved. Xzaver Yanguas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Capricho's Teo Cedeno in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye larry caverga's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capricho's zone, Mauricio Yzaguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Brieba came out of the goal and Mauricio Yzaguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Yzaguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Yzaguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Sabuco kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. larry caverga's Asencio Zartucha got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Yzaguirre made a kick off. Mauricio Yzaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Brieba having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Yzaguirre in the 56th minute of play forced Capricho's goalkeeper Luciano Brieba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Duarte Sabuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Capricho's goalkeeper Luciano Brieba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Capricho's Jaramillo Catalan got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Xzaver Yanguas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vidal Verdejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vidal Verdejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Cedeno in the 77th minute of play. If Mauricio Yzaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 83rd minute of the match Jaramillo Catalan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jaramillo Catalan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luciano Brieba acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gómez Burriaga. 86 minutes into the game, Xzaver Yanguas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vidal Verdejo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 93 minutes, Lisandro Zalaca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. larry caverga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Zalaca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
