Urko Somonte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrossi Henriquez went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Xantalen Aguila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urko Somonte. Guachanama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xantalen Aguila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Urko Somonte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrossi Henriquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ambrossi Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CD LasJosefinas's Zeruko Nurueña got control of the ball when Minda Abrea tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrossi Henriquez was the one to do the kick off. Udalaitz Cuerva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeruko Nurueña having to interfere. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD LasJosefinas's goalkeeper Zeruko Nurueña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Udalaitz Cuerva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeruko Nurueña was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 61st minute of the match Victoro Nava shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeruko Nurueña showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Udalaitz Cuerva in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeruko Nurueña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urko Somonte was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ambrossi Henriquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ambrossi Henriquez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 88th minute, Minda Abrea made a precise shot to the right of Zeruko Nurueña. CD LasJosefinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Zeruko Nurueña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigor Sojo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Udalaitz Cuerva came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Guachanama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Udalaitz Cuerva couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Udalaitz Cuerva sped through CD LasJosefinas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeruko Nurueña. The CD LasJosefinas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
