Zeruko Sola started the match with the kick off. Palacios Berdugo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Ambrossi Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Tarulla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Zeruko Nurueña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeruko Sola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeruko Nurueña having to interfere. Zeruko Sola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Urdiñola during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Mastolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Urdiñola to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Zeruko Sola elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Xantalen Aguila managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD LasJosefinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Xantalen Aguila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yambay Carpio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Valentin Intriago fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD LasJosefinas's protests and gave Valentin Intriago a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CD LasJosefinas getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Valentin Intriago hit a great ball. Yambay Carpio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrossi Henriquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Yambay Carpio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrossi Henriquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mastolo booed when CD LasJosefinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Gaviria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the CD LasJosefinas defense, Faustino Urdiñola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeruko Nurueña. The CD LasJosefinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeruko Nurueña should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the match, CD LasJosefinas's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Urdiñola came free, but Zeruko Nurueña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrossi Henriquez to make the kick off. Zeruko Nurueña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeruko Sola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CD LasJosefinas's Zeruko Nurueña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save CD LasJosefinas from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Mastolo's zone, Xantalen Aguila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yambay Carpio came out of the goal and Xantalen Aguila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Xantalen Aguila came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the CD LasJosefinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xantalen Aguila couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, CD LasJosefinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtsin Collante to maneuver through the defense. Zeruko Sola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xantalen Aguila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yambay Carpio having to interfere. Yambay Carpio came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by CD LasJosefinas's Xantalen Aguila. But to his dismay, Xantalen Aguila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ambrossi Henriquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yambay Carpio having to interfere. Yambay Carpio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xantalen Aguila in the 93rd minute of play. The Mastolo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mastolo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
