Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vidal Paradela took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pico Bello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Crespo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yucas FC's Cortez Eraso got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8thth minute of the game Cortez Eraso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riobamba FC's Pico Bello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yánez Olmeda in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christobal Tacon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vidal Paradela in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christobal Tacon saved Yucas FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Riobamba FC's Vidal Paradela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christobal Tacon. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. After 24 played minutes Riobamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavon Biosca. If Cortez Eraso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batista Coria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pico Bello. Riobamba FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Riobamba FC's Vidal Paradela got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Crespo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boris Crespo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Yucas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Paradela came free, but Christobal Tacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Boris Crespo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pico Bello was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Cortez Eraso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Pico Bello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vidal Paradela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yucas FC's Christobal Tacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yánez Olmeda in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Yucas FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabricio Sal hit a great ball. Vidal Paradela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christobal Tacon having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Yucas FC's Pico Bello threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boris Crespo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vidal Paradela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Christobal Tacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Yucas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Mazuca to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Yucas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yánez Olmeda came free, but Christobal Tacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Crespo in the 96th minute of play forced Riobamba FC's goalkeeper Pico Bello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Riobamba FC had won after a very even match.
