After a rather tough play, Marihuanos Futbol Club's Xavies Pajazo got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbano Fontao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Lanis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Jordana having to make a save. Rodolfo Paba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Fontao might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavier Borja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Fontao ran back to his position shaking his head. Urbano Fontao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the C.S.D. MACARA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
