If Agustin Agado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 played minutes CD Pinguilla got a freekick which was hit by Santos Calona. Lorenzo Fuerte was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Danny Cigaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danny Cigaran in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Bidania saved Quillan SC from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, CD Pinguilla's Bran Botejara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Bidania narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Quillan SC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Cigaran came free, but Mauricio Bidania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bran Botejara in the 19th minute of play forced Quillan SC's goalkeeper Mauricio Bidania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Renán Zapico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quillan SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Pinguilla the free kick. Renán Zapico hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Mauricio Bidania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Cigaran in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, CD Pinguilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaviedes Odoardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Kléber Reguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Quillan SC's zone, Danny Cigaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Bidania came out of the goal and Danny Cigaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Bran Botejara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Pinguilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bran Botejara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danny Cigaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quillan SC's Felix Ruales got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zarbonin Oliba to strike the kick off in the second half. Bran Botejara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Bidania was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bran Botejara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. In the 62nd minute Felix Ruales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Salamanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, CD Pinguilla's goal looked a bit too open when Zarbonin Oliba came free, but Marcos Salamanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CD Pinguilla's Umbruso Armentia got a free kick in the 64th minute. When CD Pinguilla's Bran Botejara in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quillan SC's goalie prevented a goal. If Zarbonin Oliba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Quillan SC's zone, Danny Cigaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Bidania came out of the goal and Danny Cigaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Bran Botejara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Bidania was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Although Quillan SC had been in control for most of the match, CD Pinguilla still came away with the win.
