Walme Godos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Munozcano in the 3rd minute of the match. Geovanny Govantes was a little too slow when Ubarna Urizar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Munozcano in the 7th minute of play forced YaaGR S.C.'s goalkeeper Walme Godos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelario Izcaray kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With his leg Geovanny Govantes managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when YaaGR S.C.'s Ubarna Urizar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ubarna Urizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Geovanny Govantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovanny Govantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xefe Minguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Munozcano in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walme Godos saved YaaGR S.C. from getting behind. Ubarna Urizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Geovanny Govantes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xefe Minguez in the 22nd minute of play forced Tarqui's goalkeeper Geovanny Govantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Xefe Minguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarqui's Geovanny Govantes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xefe Minguez took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanny Govantes. Geovanny Govantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 28th minute of the match, Xefe Minguez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geovanny Govantes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Walme Godos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Munozcano in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Coyette Tamaron notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of YaaGR S.C.'s Walme Godos. Walme Godos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. YaaGR S.C.'s Walme Godos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Munozcano in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Lucas Astiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walme Godos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Walme Godos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coyette Tamaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. YaaGR S.C.'s Walme Godos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Astiago in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, YaaGR S.C.'s Ubarna Urizar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovanny Govantes. Geovanny Govantes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Munozcano to make the kick off. If Camilo Churruca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walme Godos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Munozcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Coyette Tamaron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarqui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Astiago got free with Walme Godos in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Tarqui's goal looked a bit too open when Ubarna Urizar came free, but Geovanny Govantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tarqui's Lucas Astiago got a free kick in the 68th minute. Geovanny Govantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Urizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes, Candelario Izcaray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YaaGR S.C. and the Tarqui players grew even worse after the yellow card.
