A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Chuque FC's goalkeeper Mendoza Marrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Caliz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Lallera in the 45th minute of play forced Llaucay's goalkeeper Rolando Mendaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 62nd match minute, Llaucay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aires Monelo to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes, Marco Tolentin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Llaucay's Rolando Mendaza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mendoza Marrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Caliz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Estevez Cerezal during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He walked away shaking his head. Chuque FC played a much better game than Llaucay and deserved their victory. The Llaucay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
