Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christobal Villamayor kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Obregón Coz got free with Carmelo Ignado in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Marques Suesa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Terrazas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mellington Botello went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carmelo Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walme Lastras in the 16th minute. In the 20th match minute, Cotundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marques Suesa to maneuver through the defense. Cotundo's Cristobal Terrazas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mellington Botello in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Asuncion F.C. booed when Cotundo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marques Suesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mellington Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cotundo's Marques Suesa got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Marques Suesa off the ground. Marques Suesa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cotundo's Walme Lastras got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lopez Sicilia charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lopez Sicilia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Asuncion F.C.'s Lopez Sicilia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mellington Botello to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Asuncion F.C.'s zone, Christobal Villamayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Ignado came out of the goal and Christobal Villamayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Cotundo's goal looked a bit too open when Mellington Botello came free, but Cristobal Terrazas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Walme Lastras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cotundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walme Lastras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mellington Botello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristobal Terrazas came out and tried to block the shot, but Mellington Botello slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cotundo's zone, Mellington Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Terrazas came out of the goal and Mellington Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lopez Sicilia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Terrazas having to interfere. Asuncion F.C.'s Mellington Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cotundo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Obregón Coz hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Mateo Ayerdi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Terrazas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabio Karmel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cristobal Terrazas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Kaviedes in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Obregón Coz during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Obregón Coz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
