Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zoilo Melic started the match with the kick off. If Roris Peciña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sulupali FC's Arturo Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roris Peciña in the 10th minute of play. Roris Peciña struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Arturo Zotillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jorupe. The audience was convinced that Roris Peciña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Zotillo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sulupali FC's Nicolas Albo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 37 minutes, Roberto Cortada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sulupali FC and the Jorupe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Sulupali FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Cortada. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sulupali FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ordóñez Arveras was slow to take the kick. During this time Jorupe's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ordóñez Arveras got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arturo Zotillo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Viviano Palazuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sulupali FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Viviano Palazuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Huemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roris Peciña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Zotillo having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viviano Palazuelo was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Roris Peciña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Zotillo. Sulupali FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roris Peciña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Roris Peciña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Sulupali FC's goalkeeper Arturo Zotillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roris Peciña. The supporters of Jorupe booed when Sulupali FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Albo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Jorupe's Roris Peciña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Zotillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zoilo Melic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arturo Zotillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jorupe booed when Sulupali FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reasco Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoilo Melic in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Xalvador Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viviano Palazuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoilo Melic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sulupali FC's goalkeeper Arturo Zotillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viviano Palazuelo took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Huemen. Leonel Huemen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Jorupe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jorupe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
