In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chapacoto FC's goalkeeper Espiga Pinos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chapacoto FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ordóñez Arveras was slow to take the kick. During this time Jorupe's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Jorupe's Leon Samaniego got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Chapacoto FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
